The first thing you want to do when you get a new website or even if you only got a website re-designed is to promote it. Big companies do this by press releases or by spending advertising showcasing their new website/features on the new site. You can do press releases too but lets take it a step further. When you get a new website the first thing to do is tell all your friends on facebook, twitter or myspace. Get the word out to them and hopefully they will get the word out to their friends if what you have is worthy. Using your friends is one of the best marketing methods out their. If you don't have any friends well then there might be a problem, not only with method of online marketing but with you (so get some help if you don't have any). Leveraging friends on social networks is very powerful. It can spread like wild fire faster than if you actually spent money on online advertising. If you do it wrong it can actually back fire on you and cause you more harm than good. That's why it is important to sometimes get some consulting on what you plan on doing with the social networks before you do it. Or if you don't have a network built of customers/friends you can use a company like us (LaunchTulsa.com) to help build your network and provide tips and tricks to get better results. |
